(annyi időm nincs, hogy mindent két nyelven írjak meg, ez az angol nyelvű blogon jelent meg)
It was a Canon 70d – but as we have seen at the end, in fact could be any camera.
The owner told me, that the camera can work with different EF (full frame) lenses, some Sigma lenses – but cannot see the EF-S 17-85 or the EF-S 18-55.
??????????????????
The owner has observed, that one pin from the bayonet is shorter, than the others. The EF-S lenses are probably a little bit different from the EF and the Sigma, so they didn’t get the supply voltage.
I disassembled the camera, and I have found this:
I disassembled the contact housing:
And here is the faulty spring.
Now I have to find a similar spring from any other camera.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
And here there are: the 7d Mk2 has the same pins!
The left is from the 70d, the right one from the 7d2.
I am very curious, which will be the next patient – as I have a few springs on the shelf…
